THE SKINWALKER RANCH
The skinwalker ranch is a property in Utah where 100’s of paranormal events have been reported. Some events are:
- UFO sightings
- Big foot like creatures
- Crop circles
- Glowing orbs
- Poltergeist activity from former owners
- Mutilated cattle
- Large animals with piercing red eyes that they say were not injured when struck by bullets
Crazy huh? Maybe it’s just mass hysteria or maybe there’s something bigger going on.
I lived here. My mom grew up here. My grandma lives not far from here. My uncle is a police officer here. I can 100 % say this place it’s CREEPY! So many weird things happen, ALL THE TIME.
Teeth Obsession 1 & 2 - Dave Correia
I think this would be an apt time (since the official press release goes out tomorrow) to make sure you are aware that Emily Carroll is joining us as a featured guest for SPX 2014. This will be her first time at the show and I could not be more thrilled.
Through the Woods, her first print collection will debut mid-summer. I am pretty sure it will melt your brain.
A compilation of Edward Gorey and his rather gothic poems and illustrations.
You requested it and so I made it!
Warning: Some material here contains jump scares and shocking material. Do not watch if you have severe anxiety and are triggered by such things
- BONGCHEON-DONG GHOST: An EXTREMELY creepy korean comic about a women who lost her baby. Yeah, this was the one that gave me a heart attack (jump scare)
- OKSO STATION GHOST: From the same artist who brought you bongcheon-dong ghost (jump scare)
- ENIGMA OF AMIGARA FAULT: An internet classic that has definitly creeped a lot of people out. By Junji Ito, a famous horror manga artist.
- OTHER JUNJI ITO COMICS: I’ve read a lot of positive reviews about this horror manga artist, so here’s a link to a complete set of his work
- HIS FACE ALL RED: A comic about two brothers and the power of jealousy
- THE DREADED QUESTION: Dark, beautifully written and drawn with a twist at the end, read the comments for more testimonial
Feel free to add onto this list, I am sure there are those on tumblr who know the comic world way better than me!
So, we have a weird family thing. Never ever EVER have a mirror facing a doorway or window. What I’ve been told, is that it creates an entrance from the other side, that anything can get in. If it’s stuff that’s built in, painting the doorframe blue and/or covering the mirror is the fix.
When I was trying to figure out where we got our superstitions about mirrors, all I could find online is that other folk’s lore says that mirrors should be facing windows and doors to confuse spirits into leaving, or to frighten them off with their own reflections (which still makes no sense to me).
That picture up there? Mirror, facing the window. That’s your problem right there. Paint that window frame blue, lay down some salt, cover that mirror.
Bagger 258: The “Blue Wonder” -Schipkau, Germany
Bagger 258 is a bucket wheel excavator, or “schaufelradbagger,” built by the heavy machinery company Lauchhammer. First put to use in East Germany in 1964, Bagger 258 was one of a series of such machines whose task was to assist in intensive mining operations.
Bagger 258 was abandoned in 2002, for no better reason than that it had simply run out of things to dig. By this point the behemoth was showing its age, and the cost of dismantling it wasn’t justified by the tired mechanisms on offer. Instead the area around Bagger 258 was replanted, and redeveloped as a solar park.
These days, Bagger 258 stands desolate in a field in Germany. Its blue paint job - now chipped and fading - had once earned it the nickname, “Blue Wonder.”

But you can’t give up on it! It can be made into an art school, a music theater, a stage for drama and music, a school, or simply a work of art in itself. Don’t let it die! Look how lonesome it is! I be you can hear it cry on autumn and winter nights if you just listen! It’s sad, because it had a purpose and work of its own, and people just abandoned it.
Reclaim the Blue Wonder! Give it life and purpose again!

Do you know why a lot of these were closed down? Leaking underground storage tanks.
Do you know what the EPA calls a leaking underground storage tank? LUST.
Yes, that’s right, this is a photo series about the devastation wreaked by LUST.
This is the dead thing in a jar I got in Shelby’s sale. Its a grey wolf puppy. It was born dead to a mother in captivity.
Since its stillborn it was full term and has fur and everything. He resides by my desk. I usually don’t bother with wet specimens but this one was too perfect.
